In 2012 an idea was sparked when a group of guys decided to start baling and selling a dirty LDPE product called ag film.  With the scrap market tightening and the primary market of China becoming more difficult because of China's "Green Fence" initiative, the prospect of selling used dirty ag film into the recycling markets worldwide became too uncertain. Small margins and a narrow selling base led to the expansion of the idea into the cleaning of the film to appeal to a wider market.

Calling on people with years of ag film washing and plastic recycling experience, FLAG was started with idea of creating a raw material suitable for extrusion into pellets.  Because of the complex nature and the rigorous specification of making reprocessed pellet, FLAGs idea was to simply make a flake of LDPE film and allow the processors or end-users to extrude to their specification. With an abundant feedstock and close relations with major Florida growers, FLAG is in position to supply up to 45,000,000lbs of clean material annually to processors and manufacturers alike.

FLAG Designs, Engineers and Manufacturers its propriety wash system that efficiently and effectively washes the dirty film to a 99% purity.  No other company in the world has the ability to create a clean 2"-4" LDPE flake from Ag film that is ready to process.  Our process is 100% Chemical free and uses 80% recycled water to clean the film.
